My dishnetwork dvr is getting too full!!!

So I was wondering if I could buy a tv tuner card and copy the stuff off of it to dvds from my computer?

I can record stuff with my tvtuner and I have the most basic one you can get from leadtek, I got it for $10 new off newegg

The Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150 has been said to be the best for capturing from dishnetwork.

Not all capture cards are created equal, I use an x-capture card(no tuner) and it works very well. I've had a cheaper card that did not capture nearly as well, very fuzzy picture.

I was going to get a ati tv wonder pro, but I read on some reviews that it doesn't sync the video and audio very well.

The Hauppauge 150 looks like the card I will be getting.
