I'm trying to use WPCREDIT/WPCRSET to set register 52, bit 7 to allow the cpu to idle. BUT... it WILL NOT set for me on the 8KHA+. Has anyone else tried this? Does anyone know of a way other than the above mentioned progams to set this bit?
My idle temps aren't that high (35C for a overclocked XP1800+) but I know that the idle temp can be lower.
