Slipstreaming and ISO images =/

Im banging my head against the keyboard. It isnt doing much =)

I just slipstreamed SP2 and a few up the security updates into WXP PRO and then proceeded to extract the ISO image from the original CD.

I was following instructions quite adeptly up until this point...

....except the instruction use Nero 6 to burn this image onto the CD. Well...ok...I guess I'd better just buy Nero 6!

So I did! It arrived yesterday morning and I prompty installed it. Today I notice that I apparently dont have the BURNING ROM part of Nero...so selection the "ISO" tab and whatnot is not an available option to me =/ (I even was ready to breakdown and "upgrade" my version at Neros website until I saw it would cost me ANOTHER FRIKKIN 60 DOLLARS!! For an UPGRADE! Christ. *crys*)

Is there someway, some guide, some ANYTHING (lol) that would allow me to burn my new slipstreamed Windows and the original ISO image to a new disk so that it can be used for a fresh install???

Thanks everyone,

VYnny

Get nlite: http://www.nliteos.com/
It generates a normal ISO file which you can burn with any cdburning program, including free cdrdao and others. No need to do buy any commercial program(s)

Yeah, I find it is a pain to create images of bootable CDs using Nero. There are too many parameters to set up. I had great success using the free CDIMAGE GUI utility and just following the simple instructions provided by MSFN's Unattended XP CD guide located here .
