3D Marks

Just a quick question. I've just recent;y switched to Ati and am unfamiliar with how well their 3D Marks should be. My card in my sig got 5830 marks in '05.... is that about on par? The CPU was at stock as well...

Thats pretty decent, dont worry about your CPU to much until you start getting over 10k(pretty hard to do).

yeah thats a nice score you got there, try verclocking the CPU and see wat happens.

Odd.

I have a 3200+ Oc'd to a 2.55/2.6 depending on the game and my x850 pro is unlocked as well and I scored a 6530 just a few days ago.

What do you have the card clocked at?
Mines at 530/580.

I wonder why I'm scoring higher?

I have an Nforce3 gigabyte board.

I think that would make a diffrence. correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah i agree the Athlon 64 is a far more supirior chip over the XP's, and when its running at near FX55 speads then its going to easily be faster than any XP.
