I've recently obtained three new 9.1GB SCSI HDD's and a used PCI controller to fool around with (less than 25 bucks for all four).

Two of the drives are IBM units, on the package it says "9.1GB SCSI SCA-2 HDD".
The other is a Quantum Atlas IV.

The controller is a "Tekram DC-390F Wide SCSI".

I've never fooled with SCSI before, and I am wondering if these are compatible with each other, can they be used in a system with an ATA drive, and would it be worth it to try.

Can they be set up in a RAID configuration ?

Also, the manual I downloaded for the controller from the Tekram website is in... German ? Anyone know where I can get instructions (in english) on how to set these up ?

Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
