Sinking a P4C800-E Deluxe

Well im getting a cheat 3.2e E0 and my RMA is coming back as a P4C800-E Deluxe. I want to sink everything i can on the motherboard to try and get the most stable overclock i can. What exactly can i put ramsinks on? And what other mods would you recommend? I know the vagp and droop mod, are there any other mods i should do? I dont think ill do the vdimm mod id rather just get a booster.

Definitely sink up the power mosfets. Personally, I'd put a heatsink on the PLL chip too (clock generator). Is the N/B passive on that mobo? If so, slap a 40mm fan onto the sink.

I've done this to a couple of Abit IC7 mobos, but never a P4C800. But, basically look for the mosfets around the CPU and ATX power connector. Mosfets are little flat black square components.

Sink every mosfet, there should be about 15, give or take. Use the microcool microsinks for that, since the mosfet sinks are too big for most of them. Sink the PLL and southbridge. NB-1C is a good choice for the northbridge, MCX-159Cu w/ Delta FFB0412VHN is better.

I removed all the tape on mine and cleaned everything with Arcticlean and used Alumina adhesive instead.

The actual MOSFET sinks are too big to fit on many of the MOSFETs on the board. I used the microsinks for that. I used the actual PLL sink for the PLL chip, and the southbridge sink for the southbridge. Make sure you don't have full-length cards in the slots behind the southbridge before you put that on.

Don't waste you money, you don't need them. Save cash for future system.
Like the NB gets toasty but its built to take it.
If your as crazy as me yourl touch the mosfets after a few hours of full load, they don't even get warm.
btw. my intake case cooling is 2x 80mm @ 7v (thats all).
