can I do anything???

have a athlon64 3200+ and bought this MB.

no OC options, locked at X12, I can adjust hyperthread to 1000mhz...also can adjust mem 200mhz etc.....

can I do anything basic to improve the computer?

Nope. Not even clockgen can help you here.

I did the same thing when I built my first rig years ago. You have to bite the bullet and buy a board that overclocks. Try looking at asus abit or dfi to name a few, but do a little research before buying another.
