wow Chronicles of Riddick is awesome!

i just finished it and wow! i think this game is definitely one of, if not the best FPS i've ever played.

things i liked:

1. FEET! no floating torsos and what not
2. character interactions, felt like HL2 level of human-ness in the NPCs
3. hand to hand/weapon fighting - man Oblivion better take some pointers from this game regarding camera movement/motion.
4. ambience - this game has a great believable "feel" that i loved
5. nice use of "vehicles" - the big robot things were tons of fun
6. pacing - this game had excellent pacing. the mix of action and then RPG-style elements really impressed me.
7. plot - simple but interesting, w/good bad guys and twists
8. cinematic quality - based on a movie, but good cut scenes and again "feel"
9. graphics/overall polish - NICE explosions, levels, character designs, guns, nice.

the only bad part was it was short, but i didn't feel shortchanged.

all in all great game! i hope the next batch of FPS games incorporate a lot of what made this game awesome.

The voice-acting is awesome, and the graphics IMO are better than Doom's.

yeah i loved getting all the shanks and other dirty weapons in jail

It was so much better then the movie.

Could have done with a little less cursing, but maybe some people like that.

Really liked the roleplaying aspects of it.

Oh, god yes. Doom 3 got so boring, but this game was very fun.
