Game installer not working

I went to install Star Trek bridge commander today but the the installer will not start I copyed every thing to the desktop and tried again same thing. I then tried it on my laptop and it worked.

Check your sevices. If youve done some winxp tweaking, you may have disable the ones needed for the installer to work.
