So I've decided to overclock my XFX card a bit... So far i've got to 500MHZ core and 1150 memory, already 150MHZ over the stock (but only 50 over XFX default) I'm getting 5920 (an increase from 5666 which was stock) 3DMarks which I'm pretty happy with but my core temp is still 43C after 4 runs of 3dmark (thanks to my NV Silencer 5). I pushed my core up to 515MHZ but noticed black splotches on some of the textures. I'm pretty sure this is the core as clocking the memory to high would result in white speckles (I think). My question is, are the dark blotches telling me to stop overclocking or to increase my core voltage? If the latter what is the best way to do it? Thanks.
