Hey guys, I want to buy a 3700+ SanDiego CORE, whats the stepping / codeing that I have to look for on the CPU ? Thanks in advance! :)

I dont know what the best stepping, week, etc is but my 3700 has a really good overclock. Mine runs at 2.95GHz, at 1.65V. 295x10. Stable in prime 95 for over 20 hours. I have a KAB2E 0545. Maybe someone with a better knowledge can tell you more.

Dont I have to look @ the first line?

I use to have a 3500+ Clawhammer and it was ADA3500DEP4AS.......

So does anyone know the stepping for the 3700+ San Diego ?

I thaught there is a way to identify that its a San Diego  I am going to be buying the CPU tomorrow, so can somone please post what I have to look for. THANKS :)

It's the 2nd line you want to look at if you're looking for a good stepping..not the first line. Mine for example is in my sig (max cool air OC is 3.05Ghz 1.65v).

Most of the CABGE Sandys will do over 2.8ghz.
