KAB2E or CABGE for 3700+ steppings

KAB2E would probably be better, as its newest. CABGE wasn't a good OCer anyways

My KAB2E 0544 4000+ does 2856Mhz with 1.44v. I am running on an Asrock Dual939-SATA2 so can't up the voltage any more. It will run at 2904MHz but Prime wont run longer than a couple hours without error. If I could up the voltage more, I think it would do 3000MHz with around 1.55v.

Rumors say the opposite actually. But I wouldn't belive them, since I've seen many CABGEs do very well.
All steppings do well.
Just get both of them, test 'em out, then sell off the weaker one.
How far a Socket939 Opteron will go is undeterminable by stepping.

My KAB2E can get to almost 3GHz ez, although i need 1.6V.

Is KAB2E a new stepping? Or does everyone keep saying KAB2E instead of CAB2E?

My KAB2E can do 2.85 @ 1.48 and 2.95 @ 1.57.You need a lot more for 3.0 GHz maybe over 1.65...

Have to pump 1.64Vcore on mine to reach 2.75GHz.
Can only reach 280HT, more vcore doesnt help.
So mine (CABGE) is lame.

Some CABGEs and KAB2E do very well, and some not so well. Its pretty much luck of the draw.
