Program to restore HDD to factory default?

I remember using a program many years back on an older hard drive that would totally clear out everything - data, partition info, etc, to make the HDD basically factory fresh. I don't remember the program name or anything but I need it.

It is for an 80gb Western Digital drive (8mb cache). If possible, the program should be able to boot from a CD (I don't have a diskette drive). Thanks!

www.ultimatebootcd.com has the manufacturer's diagnostic and tool programs for most harddrives.
