I have a DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D and my last HDD quit on me after I moved my memory modules from the yellow slots to the orange. I just bought another harddrive and had the memory in the yellow slots again and installed windows xp and everything ran fine. I turned off the computer and moved the memory to the orange slots (b/c I heard the orange perform better) and now its not recognizing THIS HDD. Does moving the memory sticks have ANYTHING to do with Harddrives failing?

I rebooted and NOW it recognized my HDD, but wouldn't boot into windows. I replaced the SATA cable, and now it boots into windows. Weird.
