new to phase change

about a month ago i picked up a phase change cooler from another member of the forum. i am finally getting ready to install it, but had a few questions 1st.

i have a AMD dual core opte in a asus sli mobo. running solid at 2.6 ghz at stock vcore. can i really expect to get more out of this by freezing it? i just don't want to go through the pain of insulating everything and not gettin past 3ghz.

will lowering the temp require that i redo all the standard tests to find max oc? or will things like max htt, max fsb stay the same?

this unit will probably keep the cpu at 0-19 deg C. can i insulate the mobo without using grease? that stuff is a pain to clean...

thanks!!

Expect 2 to 3% increase in your overclock for every 10C drop.

Yes, you will be taking the time to find your max oc again. It will might be like testing out an entirely new system, but your mem is still the same and your motherboard limitations should be about the same.

If you are going to run it continuously, you need the grease.

This article says that dielectric grease can be cleaned with electronic cleaner.
