New Antec PSU: high -5V (-61.94V) NF7-S

I had to replace my 400W supply in a pinch. died overnight

Bought an Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W at Staples.

Never dealt with such a seemingly nice supply, connecting your own cables based on what you need.

However, despite putting settings in the BIOS back to what they were, the system is unstable. Firefox is crashing, Winamp...

I am now looking at the current values on the Health Status Page:

CPU V core: 1.70V
VCC Voltage (+2.5V): 2.64V
I/O Voltage (+3.3): 3.27V
+5V: 4.98V
+12V: 12.22V
-12V: -12.04V
-5V -61.94V
3.3V Dual Voltage: 3.49V
Standby 5V 5.43V

Settings are as follows:
XP2600+ (166*12.5) CPU has 333FSB
AGP: 66MHz
CPU FSB/DRAM ratio 5/6 (400MHz)
CPU interface disabled

PSU controller:
CPU Core: 1.725V
DDR SDRAM: 2.6V
Chipset: 1.6V
AGP: 1.5V

Memory Timings: Optimal (8-3-3-3.0)
FSB Spread Spec @ 0.50%
AGP Spread @0.50%
CPU Thermal Throttling: 50.0%

~~~~~~~~~~~
The two lines from the power supply are connected as follows:
#1: PSU -> DVD/CD Burner -> Floppy -> 160GB WD HDD
#2: PSU -> ATI V-shaped adapter (Harness line splits: one to 9800 and the other to the Seagate boot drive, as per ATI) -> case fan -> case fan -> case fan
I have used all the 12V onboard fan hookups, so had to use the PSU.
What in the hell is going on? What did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance,
SR
Well, I have a similar issue, where my -5V line reads at 0.00V within the bios and like 3.3V within MBM in windows. I haven't had any issues described by you, but what I believe is that the Antec doesn't do -5 volts? I've also heard that -5 volts is usually used for wake on lan features or something along those lines and not used by many other devices.
If you check the specs for that powersupply you see that there's no mention of -5V line, so I hope this helps in your troubleshooting.
Thank you for the link. Yes, in looking at the supply itself there is no -5V
So, where is this reading coming from in the BIOS? It's live, fluctuates as I watch....
Just curious. If it's harmless jabber, I will ignore it and use the box. Just making sure it's not going to fry something.
Thanks, and I will post in another thread the other issues.
Regards,
SR
