Alright, so I have finally decided to try and overclock my system. But, i'm hesistant to start right now b/c i need to reformat my C:\ drive sometime soon and i don't want to lose all my ocing settings... i'd reformat now but i'm just lazy. So, i was wondering if I reformat my c drive if all my overclocking would be lost or is it just saved on the motherboard via eeprom or cmos or whatever.

shouldnt as its saved in the bios as that is not on your hard disk. when i reinstalled windows on my machine i didnt lose any of my settings. insalling windows on a overclocked machine goes alot faster ill tell u
