Out of curiosity you don't by chance have a disk in a floppy drive do you? When you are trying to boot.

What did you set the boot sequence to be in your BIOS? Make sure your CD-ROM is set as the first Boot Device.

Did you hit "any Key" when the Bios said to press any key to boot from CD? You may have to change the bios options to not display the logo (large and/or small).

Disable the logo anyway, it only gets in the way of Real Work.

Check your boot order, IDE configuration, and reflexes on mashing any key, and try again.

Sometimes if the CD is a copy, you wont get it to boot either.

Funny enough i had this today !!

Problem: Hard Drive isnt being read/Its corrupt/Its empty

Solution: You have to set your boot device to your CD Drive BEFORE your HDD.

Enjoy.

Sounds like the bootloader is broken perhaps, try booting off the windows install cd, and when you get the option to go to the recovery console press "r". Once you are inside the recovery console run fixmbr. This will reinstall the MBR.
