RAID1 array/WinXP - can/should I enable disk write caching?

Did the search & goog also, but still unresolved...

Bootvis says I have disk write caching disabled...

I am running a RAID1 array using 2 x W/D SATA2 250Gb drives and a 300Gb ATA100 drive.

What do you guys & gals reckon? (I'm not even sure XP-Pro allows you to, but...) should I? Will there be a performance gain?

(I have noticed how sluggish and cumbersome the PC feels since going from a RAID0 array to a RAID1 array, using exactly the same gear and progs.)
