I'm looking for some "not too expensive (or better yet, cheap!)" decent PSU. it's gonna to be to power a plain o/c'ed Presler folding rig with nothing more than a couple sticks of memory, 1 old HDD, couple fans, cheap pci video card. no dual 12v rail, but do need somewhat quiet tho. since it's just for pure folding purpose, I don't wanna spend $100 or more on PSU you know.

Quiet single 12v units below $100 pretty much rules out all my usual recommendations, but this Enermax unit might do the trick: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103464

The Powerstream 420W should also do ok, as would a fan modded Sparkle FSP550-60PLG or FSP550PLG-SLI.
hmm....33A@12v, that sounds good and reasonable price (of course, cheaper will be even better!! :p ).

I usually buy a boatload of these every time I find them on sale (usually around $9.99) never had one blow up, but there is always a first time.
On a farm layer, most motherboards use a lot less than 120w, I don't expect many issues with power and heat. I run totally diskless, headless, caseless & now.. even sans video card! they are be fine for folding.

Looks like a relabeled Leadman/Powmax - definitely not recommended for a Prescott, overclocked or not. That first time is likely coming, and sadly it wouldn't shock me at all if it was soon followed by second, third, and fourth times :(
