HTPC Size Questions...

I am going to make a HTPC case out of Aluminum. Any suggestions as to what the dimensions should be? I want it to be a cube or cube shaped.

Depends on motherboard and components. ATX? mATX? going for SFF?

Its going to be a mATX board... It doesnt really have to be SFF but it would be nice.

Use a simple 3D program to mock-up a configuration with the parts.

10-inch or 12-inch cube for micro-ATX. I have a 12-inch acrylic semi-cube (one open side) container that I never got around to using.

Also what kind of simple 3D program... I have a copy of AUTOCAD 2006, but its wicked confusing to use?
