I will be placing a order soon and i need a couple thoughts on my case. I have a super lan boy and had heat problems with it before(not to bad) and wondering if i should get a new case for my new build. It will consist of: AMD X2 3800, XFX 7800gt, asus an8 sli premium, 2x120g hitiachis, and 2g of g. skill mem. If i do need a new case should i get this one or this one and i dont realy care about looks :p

Or should i just keep my super lan boy and just get some high cfm fans and put in there?

I would just keep the Lanboy and upgrade the fans, there has always been complaints that the stock fans are way too slow. It's a great case so that would be your best/cheapest bet.

Either option would work. If you decide to get a new case, have you looked at the Cooler Master Ammo? I got the chance to inspect one, and I was thoroughly impressed with it.

i have a soprano, and this is the second one ive used. it has very decent case cooling for a cheap(er) case, with 2 120mm intake/exhaust fans, and one 80mm side case fan with 4 5.25 drive bays, and numerous 3.5 hd holders and 2 floppy drives. the front of the case sucks, because the door has no grill and you cant get any air into the fan... thats ok, im going to take care of that once i get my new stuff by cutting out a section and installing a mesh grill.

I'm currently using an Antec P-160 w/ window- awesome aluminum case, I can't ever see a need to move to another.

The case has excellent airflow (120mm intake & exhaust), intake filter, blue lighting, CD drive covers, and graet quality.

More expensive than many, but worth every penny (IMO).

Here's a pic of my rig-

I must say get a case with a removable motherboard...........its really a time saver...........makes working on ur pc much more enjoyable and safer

good luck

Ive got the Thermaltake shark you linked to and ive got to say its amazing, removable motherboard tray, very roomy, lockable, extremely strong, not too heavy etc. I highly recommend it
