it'll save you Harddrives, and any other optical drives (I forget if you had any on ther) and monitors and video cards...

if you are just farming, just drop those video cards entirely and run the windowless folding. If you think you must have video, then these are a better price. Video performance is just not needed or important for a farming layer

agreed...save the hdd cost and vid cost and put it into a faster cpu/more ram(512 if you're going for qmd's) I'd say go intel unless you have a super big prob with going intel, but they will put out more ppd per $... Also, think about possibly ocing... going intel + ocing safely you could probably do the same amount of ppd for about 300 bucks with a single rig.

ok i also need a a rorter or something i have a linksys speed bost and there are only 4 ports and they are full and its in a diffrent room

something like this would be good, and give your farm some room to grow. Plus, it is on sale right now. Still a good price if you miss it tomorrow.

i know you can build a celeron d diskless/headless layer for 120, but it would be a low ppd machine... i'd say go for 2 presshot layers with decent mobos and oc them
