Hello,

When I switch on my ATX system at the mains it automatically starts in 'standby' mode. I then have to hit the power button to 'start' it. The button is only a 'software' button and the motherbaord controls passivly monitors the soft power button.

Is there anyway to automatically start the system when I switch on the mains power so that I don't have to physically hit the ATX power button? I.E. bios settings? or hardwired line?

And then having done this.... is there also a way to nicely shut the system down? without simply powering off the mains!

Any help is gratfully appreciated.
