The guy has good taste in ram, I'm testing them out for him since he doesn't have the system yet.

corsair 5400ul
p5wd2 premium bios 0702
631 cedar mill (15x)
vdimm set to 2.3v (unmodded board)

first we have to try tightest timings:

increasing the cas latency with 2-2 didn't help
now we have to try slightly looser timings. 3-3-2-4 didn't work too well but a cas of 4 gave some nice results:

increasing cas to 5 gave another small boost:

this ram doesn't seem to like looser (3-3) timings, it wouldn't get into windows at ddr-1100 5-3-3-8 so I gave up on it.

i cant wait to get my board modded and run 2.6v through them

I dont use prime for stability testing. Its best to use a combo of CPUburn/Toast/K8 Burn with 3d01SE looped 6 hours.

Same here! Doesn't like 3-3...hehehe its my type of ram...who says you can't run tight timings with DDR2?

8000ul is ice cold @ 2.4v. Would like to run 4-2-2-6 on 2.6v but mobo needs a mod.
