fx-55 is 2.6ghz, so i'd say that's the closest comparison.

your cpu is clocked higher than all non fx cpu the top model 4000+ is clocked @ 2.4 with 1 mb cache and the 3800+ 2.4 with 512 cache so it is a bit better tha borth or equal
