TFT monitor and cold cathode lighting.....

I'm thinking about putting a couple of cold cathode tubes (the standard case-modding type) on the back of my monitor at the bottom, to give it an underglow effect (please, don't tell me if you think it'll look stupid). However, i know that TFT screens are pretty sensetive to certain things, and i just want to check that these types of lighting aren't one of them before i put them there and possibly screw my screen up. Thanks.

Shouldn't affect it at all, in fact the backlight in LCD monitors is exactly the same type of light.
