I have a AK32 mobo with the on board sound. Everytime I use any program that requires sound I have to set the wave balance down or it sounds like crap (all distorted). Is there anyway to get the setting to stay at midlevel? Or should I just go out and buy a different sound card? I was hoping to get the audigy sound card later on but if I have to get a different card for now I will. Any coments or suggestions are appreciated.
