WinampAdvanced Visualizations dont work with GeForce?

hi guys, I recently upgraded to a new comp and was hoping I'd be able to enjoy the visuals I see on my laptop, but on my new comp and screen and in full screen mode. Unfortunately, all i see when i start the plugin is a blank window that fades different colors every now and then (Switch between the presets). Other plugins like geise and R4 work great but milkdrop errors when it starts. So is there some compatibility issue with my 7800GT maybe? my old computer is a P4 laptop with an ati mobility gpu. I'm running x64 windows. Suggestions?
