i know they are out there, but how can i find more UT2004 servers (besides unchecking standard servers)

Try the TAM download. That is a great gametype with a large community.

Its a gametype for UT. Yuo can download it at file front i think.
It stands for Team Arena Master. Its basically TDM but you start with all guns. My friend is onthe 4th ranked clan on twl and if you want i can give you their server info. my xfire is flakmonkey42.
