A case should serve it's purpose of airflow. It does not seem like this case have a good airflow system. It apears to only have option for one 80mm on in back and front airflow seems to be zero (or restricked).

The best airflow case for the cheapest $$ I've used is the Linkworld 3210-04. Around $19-$21, you can have a 92mm inflow and outflow. Not as good as a 120mm but a decent case for $21. Plus it has a window so it's easily modded to add a 120mm if you need more cooling.

how can aluminum case be so cheap.. and i'd say ugly.

Lol!

The case was originally released in 2001 so its style...is indeed somewhat lacking. The funny part is that the case originally retailed for around $150 US.

If you look into some of the reviews however I have to admit I was suprised at how well it was rated upon release (keep in mind that was 5 years ago) but for relative temps to other 'high end' aluminum cases check this out - http://www.gideontech.com/content/articles/22/2
and go to the 3rd page. Its temp performance was pretty decent by comparision.

I agree that the air flow probably could be better and I would probably be tempted to cut a sidepanel 120mm into it. With that done however I bet this would turn into a nice cool system case.

How to really pretty it up? Hide it ;)

Still for $20 for an aluminum case its hard to beat ;)

They have a 14.99 aluminum, too...

At that price, you really can't complain.
Look like a 120mm in the back, then maybe you can use the uber-restricted front bottom ventilation all cases have... Or use the PCI slot area to mount a 80mm or something. Looks like there's plenty of room there.
