When I had my XP-90 mounted on my 3400+, I was getting high 30's to low 40's for temps. Once I took off the XP-90 and reseated with Arctic Silver 5 (as opposed to the stock stuff it came with), temps dropped to the single digits. Amazing!! Too bad they're wrong, or at least I somewhat hope so, since my room's temp is about 65-70 F. Any thoughts?

What program are you using to get the temps?

thats what im wondering too. if your cpu temps are below the ambient room temps rest assured theyre being read incorrectly as thats not possible.

sometimes you can use a program like mbm5 or speedfan to get a diffrent temp reading which might be worth a try.
