ive been looking at getting an xp mobile but was recommend to look at a socket a sempron......what yall recommend???

Best cpu for socket a board

An xp mobile is definitely the best cpu you can get if you're overclocking. If you're not overclocking, then a 3200+ barton is the best you can do.

If its a mobile I think the 2500+ are supposed to be amazing chips.

Your best bet for finding a good 35W mobile would be the classifiedes. A lot of people have been making the switch from these chips to a 939 system.
