bad block in cdrom?

I have never seen this.

Is this calling out an error on the disk in the drive?
I see about 10 of these errors in a day, according to event log.

I'm also wondering about this as I get these once and awhile too. The ms help and support service mentioned that it's related to a failing cd/dvd ide cable, but I switched my cdrw and dvdrw cables and it still happens.
