anyway to unlock the bios on laptop?

like the title says, is there any way to unlock the OC features on the bios for my toshiba satellite L25 laptop? id like to OC the cpu to maybe 1.7 or 1.8 from 1.5.

most likely not, toshiba does not like people fiddling with bios settings, ALTHOUGH if it is a pentium M processor, (or centrino or w/e) there are a few pin mods that can be done (ie search the term "pin mod" in the search bar above)

should have mentioned its a celeron M, 1.5 1mb cache

you should try one of those software based overclocking utilities..

but at the end of the day you wont notice much of a difference in performance

yeah, just trying to see if i can get anything out of it... i only paid 400 bucks after tax for it.
