What do i need with my OEM harddrive?

Yup, but your mobo didn't come with any? Strange. But if your PSU has the connectors and your mobo supports SATA, that's it.
 
im getting quite a few new things, let me check real fast to see if my motherboard has SATA cables with it.

Edit: yes the one i'm getting does include SATA cables, thnx for pointing that out.

If you plan to install the operating system on this drive, you need to press F6 at blue screen to install the SATA driver (unless you slipstream install with drivers). Your mobo should come with a floppy disk.

Make sure to only plug one power source in. If you use the SATA power plug, dont use the 4 pin.
