I'm in Washington D.C. again...

Report from Washington D.C. until Thursday... I journeyed up here to help my Uncle at his business... Some of you might remember my 'Job Log' about that.

Anyway... just thought I'd let you know... we're getting ready to buy 23k of stuff for a client... I get to do the purchasing... and the instalation at the end of March.

PS. Are you jealous yet?

Is it possible to drop 23k in a computer?

Well, if you have the time, drop by the museum of science and technology. In the section on computers, they have a Cray-1. Take a pic of yourself standing next to it and post it here.

It is not too much of a stretch to argue that that was the first computer ever to be overclocked as it was the first one to be called a "supercomputer" and Seymour Cray used some techniques that are still with us today (Like immersing the system boards in flourinert that is chilled with liquid nitrogen).
