this thread is not about weather I-Ram is good value but if it is any good as a benching aid

it is fitted with 4G of teamgroup memory

my first impressions of the unit (before benching)

hehe i have never installed windows so fast it just rips window off the cd

and booting to windows is just crazy you turn on the computer the bios dose its thing

and bang window is there

but i did not get this for that i will be setting it up in and running some benchies tomorrow

Maybe by the time I have the money for something like this it will support more memory.

Should help loads in pcmark, several tenths of a second in SuperPI (more in 32M)...looks like a helluva lot of fun for sure.

I see nice results comming. (*EDIT* damn gautam beat me to this same info LOL)Not so much in the 3dmark area (hopefully im wrong tho) but more in PCmark, and possibly long Pi calcs. Anyways it will be nice to see new stuff from ya.

i picked this unit up from onepagebook for $110

just ran the system hdd from pcmark

HDD - XP Startup 120.52 MB/s

and it is the same score as the orb leader

Picked one of these up off eBay, I just need to get some Ram for it. I'm going to test 2003 X64 & I-Ram in PI. pfishy I know Eastluna carries these, they don't mention revision $134.

I've had one of these for a few months now, and I can say this about it.

it doesn't really do anything for 3DMark.
it will barely do anything to help you with super pi.
it looks nice in PCmark, and Hard drive tests, but thats about it.

the ram runs at 66 mhz, and you have no control over the speed or the voltage.
