Anyone know how much of a PSU I should be running for my system ? LG775 Pentium 4 3.4ghz 2mb cache , DFI LanParty 925X-T2 , Gigabyte X600 , 1 gb Corsair DDR2 533 , + 3 SATA Drives , 2 PATA drives , DVD Burner , and 2 - 4 USB devices . I got a NEO 480 but am having to RMA it , wondering if it just cant handle the load .

I currently run my main rig in my sig with a Fortron Bluestorm 500W.

A64 3500+ Venice @ 2.75
2GB OCZ Gold PC4000
9 Hard Drives, including a Raptor
X800XL

I would have to say that 480 should be enough.

It hard to tell if it's enough or not unless you try it. If you want a PSU that is for sure to be enough, the top three PSUs is the Sparkle 550 SLI ~$85, OCZ Powerstream 520W~$125, and the Silverstone St56ZF~$150. These are the only ones that can guarentee working.

Here is a place that has the Silverstone on sale for $109. Link

Silverstone is the best of the three. The Sparkle 550 SLI is $85 at ewiz.
