Rumours: Has Dell Bought AlienWare Hmmmm??????

Rumours on wether or not Dell has bought out AlienWare are afoot even thou they are rumours. And are not to be take seriously there was rumours of PS3 been delayed Sony denied it but then this week officially announced it was so who knows what to believe.

yep read this yesterday, looks like dell gonna be going amd if this is true.

i wouldnt be surprised since alienware's computers are way overpriced when compared to dell.

Rumors about Dell using AMD processors have been going around for ages. I doubt it will happen, though there is a first for everything.

Apple are now using INTEL so it may be a bold move for Dell to use AMD if they did use AMD they'll get more market share. Cause eveyone knows you even read it in mags that AMD is currently at the top with there 64, 64x2 FX57-60 line of CPU's.

if they go to AMd then intel will have something to say about it, I think Dell will just use alienware to sell AMD computers but keep Dells Intel only so Intel won't complain and they can finally sell AMD comps.

Dell doesn't need to buy Ailenware to go AMD, they could very well offer ther XPS line in AMD and Intel flavors and no-one would be supprised.
Ailenware is worth its name brand for the general publics view of it being a killer gameing rig (There are many others but this one has the public's ear), they became sellouts when they sold there first PC in Bestbuy, they might as well sell to Dell.

btw.. dell likely needs to go AMD to get the Google server contract.. so this wouldnt be the only factor in getting AMD on board over at Dell..
