Newegg.com has many, or rather had many cards in different core clocks.
With the new 7900GTX with a standard core of 650 and memory at 1600Mhz, I see no reason to overclock or rather you will not see any difference in game play if you did. In benchmarking, yes. In gaming, no.
My stock 3Dmark05 score ws 9575, O/ced to 690/1750 I got 9872. Big deal. Almost a whole 300 points faster. I would love to break 10K, but the way this currently performs, I see no point.
On a side note, if you're going to get one of these babies, may I suggest the standard version 650/1600. If you wanted, you could O/C it to 690/1750 with ease and save you a few bucks for a DVD burner or something.
