Hooking up two sound systems

Hey guys. Quick question. Right now I have an audigy with the front panel that i added on myself. It's old and has been getting all weird so I want to buy a Audigy 2 or X-Fi Platnium. The only question is, if i dont have to, i dont want to get the front panel. But right now I have two sound systems. 5.1 and 4.1. And for my 5.1, I use the optical out. How would I hook up two sound systems if I got a regular Audigy without the front panel. I realy only use the front panel for the optical so I'm kind of wasting it. And in the mixer utility for creative, I have to have digital off for both sound systems for it to work correctly. I'm not sure how i would go about solving this problem. Anybody else have two sound systems hooked up? how do u do it? thx
