Where I work we have a printer policy that people provide their own paper. Sometimes though people print things and there is no paper, or it runs out, and it leaves a failed print job in the queue that they don't clear. Then other people try to print and this failed job holds up the queue unless someone deletes the failed job. Is there a way to have the print server automatically delete jobs that fail or have errors after a certain ammount of time? Right now I have to manually monitor about 45 printers periodically for failed jobs. Can this be done in windows or the driver, or do we need 3rd party software? Can you recommened any? Thanks.
