Am I crazy or do I hear my monitor?

It is an old Samtron 96P one. I have it running at 1600x1200 x75Hz as that is the highest res/freq it supports.

Yesterday I moved my case to the kitchen and it is completely silent in my room now. And I hear this weak noise, can't really explain it but sounds like some electrical buzz. It stops when I turn off my monitor.

Anyway it is driving me crazy :bang head

Do all CRTs have this kind of noise? Any way of stoping it?

Likely the power supply in the monitor has degraded. Might want to put the monitor on a line conditioner to see if it's being affected from your power line fluctuations.
