F@H Spotlight #20

This is the 20th in the series of T32 Spotlights! However, from here on out, we will have a change in pace. We'll have a new interviewer doing interviews in his own way (or if he continues with my style, that's up to him). I do apologize for taking so long to get to this last interview before Landshark takes over.

To see the ever growing list of who has been interviewed and the expected date of the next spotlight, please go to THIS THREAD.

**ps... this is another 'old' interview, so some info could be off/wrong**

This guy is a geek's geek. Though he hasn't been online much in the past few weeks (that i've noticed, then again, I haven't been online much myself)... He is still a good all around guy to know, a hard worker, and chock full of RC-Racing Goodness......

When did you join the Team? Approximate date is ok if you don't know the specific date (i dont' think anyone does! LOL).
My first record on EOC is 1/22/05, so it would have been around mid-January of '05 that I actually started.

If there was something recent that you did that you wanted your fellow teammembers to know about, what would it be?
I got a 512MB stick of Geil Ultra-X UTT-BH for Christmas. I upgraded from 256MB, so my production should go up a little bit.

What is your EOC (extremeoverclockers) stats link?
EOC stats

You do not have to give specifics, but what State do you live in, and if you don't mind telling, what town?
Belton, Missouri

How did you initially hear about F@H?
I was looking through the folding forum here at OCF and decided to join using my Sempron 2200+.

After starting, why do you continue to Fold?
I keep folding because I hope that it will help to find a cure someday, I like the competition, and I want to help Team 32.

What do you do for a living?
I go to high school, and am currently a sophomore. I don't have a job yet.

What do you do for fun?
Drive my r/c truck (an electric Traxxas Rustler), sometimes do some programming, and of course homework can be fun sometimes as well

Is there anything special you do in your spare time that you really enjoy?
Working on and driving my Rustler, overclocking, programming, sometimes math problems

Time to spill your guts. What are the stats of your main folding rig? Why is it your fave? What all do you use the rig for?
Sempron64 3000+ @ 2.74GHz, TT Big Typhoon 512MB Geil Ultra-X @ 195MHz 2-2-2-5 @ 2.7V, evga GeForce FX5700LE @ 425/450 and a Zalman VF-700AlCu, 80GB Samsung hdd, Samsung CD-RW/DVD combo drive, generic fdd (I think it's a Teac), Aspire X-Dreamer 2 with fan grills cut out, Enermax 420W psu. I use it for basically everything, including programming, gaming, web browsing, homework, etc.

Do you have a Borg-Farm? If so, how many computers, and what are they? (CPU, RAM)
I don't exactly have a farm, but I do have some machines folding. They are a Sempron 2200+ @ 2GHz, AN35-N Ultra, 512MB RAM, Radeon 9250, 40GB hdd; a Duron 1600 around 1.9GHz, AN-35N Ultra, 256MB RAM, Xpert 128, 80GB hdd; an HP with a Celeron 466 @ 546, 128MB RAM, 420MB hdd; and one that is not on 24/7, an HP with a Celeron 1.2GHz and 256MB of RAM.

What are your future goals? What do you most want to accomplish with your life?
To graduate high school, preferably with a high class rank; go to college; get a good job

if you want to add pics to your thread showing off your machine, or hobbies, etc...
My camera is still broken, unfortunately.

So... it's been a couple-3 months... is that camera fixed/got a new one yet?

Anyways, thanks again for all the guys that have let me interview them. I just hope you all can treat Landshark with the same great attitude that you gave to me.

Actually, no it doesn't. It is usually at about 49C full load, sometimes into the low 50s depending on temp, and low 40s idle. I'm running 1.65V through it though. I also want to take off the IHS but I don't have money to replace it if something happens.

Frank: You missed the URL tag on my stats link. I also was able to get the switch on my camera soldered back on, and will get pics up sometime.

Thanks everyone
