Hello, i decided that for a project im going to make an online shop, but instead of being your average plain text websites, i want it to be interactive.

So far im thinking once the website address is entered a short intro will appear while the rest of the website loads. Once the intro is finished the user will automatically see the inside of the shop as a person would if they entered any real shop.

I want a desk with a shop assistant behind it. Then at the back of the shop a few products. The user should be able to ask a choice of pre defined questions to the shop assistant, such as "Do you a certain product?" If the answer is yes then the user should be instantly at the part of the shop where the product is.

I dont need real views of a shop but maybe drawn in 3D studio max or something so users can tell what different objects are.

Can anyone offer any advice on where to start and the best software for the modelling job?

i would recommend macromedia flash and dreamweaver, seeing as they work very well together. there are plenty of free flash tutorials on the web and they have some good helpfull forums.
