My wandering eyes...
What's the best bang for the buck on cpu's and mobos on Intel lately?
Or to rephrase that, what would be suggested on a good oc'ing combo?

From what I have read, an 805 withone of the p5wd boards is good setup. ALthough, I havenet heard uch talk about the 820 and 30, but I think those are getting cheap.

i cant say for sure about the dfi, but the asus is the most popular.

if you want a dirt cheap combo that will oc pretty good, a p5p800-se and a 805 should get you to 4ghz. with that board you can use ddr1 and agp.

next step up would be the p5wd board and a 920. it could get you to 4.2+, but you wil need ddr2 and a pci-e card.

Oh ya, got the vcard. What speed/brand of ram?
I would prefer to do the dual core.
Just setting up some pricing to see if is affordable..
