anyone know anything about this.

ok, i got pc3200 ram. want to change the settings in bios. i have an award bios. newest version.
i want to set the ram timings to 2-2-2-5 cas 2. there at cas 3 now.
i have this in my bios.
this is from the DRAM settings tab.

DRAM CLOCK-
DRAM TIMING-set to turbo. has spd, turbo, ultra, and manual.
CAS LATENCY-
BANK INTERLEAVING-
TRP-
TRCD-
TRFC-
TRRD-
DRAM COMMAND RATE-

if anyone can help. i have no idea. i just know if i set the ram timings to cas 2 it will run tighter, and faster. oh my computer is 533mhz fsb.
fsb is 133mhz.
if you need anymore information. i'll look it up.

2-2-2-5 would be:
DRAM TIMING- manual
CAS LATENCY- 2
TRP- 2
TRCD- 2

the "5" would be "TRAS", but it appears your bios doesn't support changing this timing.

Proceed with caution:
Not all memories are stable at 2-2-2-x, most won't even post at those timings.

my ocz vx pc4000 ran 2-2-2-5 @ 280FSB but.... 3.5V

Err.. yes.
UTT version of Winbond W942508CH used in OCZ VX PC4000 is capable of 2-2-2-x timings at voltages >3.2V.
