AAR -Adopt A Rig?

I'll adopt lots of rigs as long as they fold under my name. Dual Core processors only, please. ;)

I was thinking of a different specific member.

I have an XP1600, and a vid card, but haven't heard anything one
way or another if the AAR wanted it.

And since I have not heard anything, I wanted to see if anyone had a mobo for an
XP pally (that worked) for donation to a "new" member. (not me :p )

If "that member" would agree to put it on line, Folding.

Call it a late / early Christmas gift.

I'm sure there are peeps who'd love to have another rig, but I think this specific person
has done a good job at making a go of it, and would like to pass something along to help them out.

I guess if someone has something, PM me. Or if any concerns - same same.

:attn:

from my experience, the parts you give to AAR just kind of disappear. I don't think any of the AAR rigs are going, either.

I think that section of the folding forum should just get nuked.

yeah, none of them are going:

I'm hoping to get my chip back so I can make it actually fold!

Official AAR Rules said:
7) In the event the host can no longer support the adopted computer, or he/she is not able to run the computer for an extended period of time (that being 4 weeks or more), it is to be returned to another host or an OC Adopt-a-Rig leader within two weeks. The shipping costs involved with returning said computer shall be the responsibility of the host. (Under special circumstances we can help out with the return shipping costs.)

haha, yeah I just contacted Jot about the rig he was taking care of and I guess his brother is currently using it, but it has no internet :( I do want my chip back, but it's not going to be that big a help, plus it's benefiting someone that wouldn't have a comp otherwise.

If they're not being used, they need to come back. I don't really care what they're being used for.....I think it was clear what they WERE to be used for. If that leaves someone high and dry....too bad.

Jot, Absolute Zero, and Batharoy are the hosts mentioned in the AAR section. None of them are folding. It would be great if the people in charge could make them pass them on to more reliable hosts.
