HD tv res question

im planning on getting a HITACHI plasma (from work at a very very good price ) and have a question about the res of the panel. its listed as 1024x1024, but doesnt that make it a square picture? if i put my pc on it, what will it look like? cheers

yeah i doubt its 1024x1024, I dont think they're listing actual screen resolution it must be something else...

plasma pixels are weird id go to wikipeidia.org and research it beacuase their pixels are rectangular i think not square
